Petrified Wood Earrings — Silver

Petrified wood holds onto things; color, pattern, the ghost of a grain.  This pair has all of it. Deep wine and russet, banded with grey, dark veining running through like something drawn by hand.

Bezel set in sterling silver. Flip them over and there are circle cutouts in the backing plate, a detail most people never see.

Just under 2¼ inches. Sterling silver ear wires. One of a kind.
